Chris Jones
Chris is Managing Director and Chief Strategist at Bonsai, where he leads platform strategy and methodology design across the firm.
He has spent more than twenty-five years in wealth management with roles at Piper Jaffray, Morgan Stanley, Meristem (now Cresset), and Wells Fargo Private Bank. As Senior Vice President at First Western Trust, he helped lead the firm's growth and expansion across Wyoming and Montana. He went on to find CanterPartners Capital, a private capital advisory firm focused on structured finance and capital restructuring. Across those roles, he advised ultra-high-net-worth families and closely held businesses whose income, assets, and ownership structures rarely fit into a template.
That experience shaped the conviction behind the platforms he leads today — built for the advisors who uniquely serve those families.
