Jared Gostanczik is a Senior Director at Bonsai, where he leads the development, distribution, and advisor adoption of the Bonsai Insurance Exchange, an integrated marketplace designed to embed annuity, life insurance, and protection solutions directly within the financial planning process.​

In this role, Jared works closely with financial advisors to move beyond traditional, product-driven approaches and implement more structured, planning-led strategies. His focus is on helping advisors identify risk exposures, align solutions to client needs, and efficiently execute insurance and annuity strategies as part of a broader, outcome-oriented plan.​

Jared brings extensive experience in sales leadership, advisor development, recruiting, and distribution management across the financial services industry. Throughout his career, he has built and scaled advisor networks, developed national training platforms, and established strategic partnerships across broker-dealers, RIAs, IMOs, NMOs, BGAs, and FMOs. His background provides a practical understanding of how advisors grow, engage clients, and implement both investment and insurance solutions at scale.​

Prior to joining Bonsai, Jared held leadership roles with Polish Falcons of America, Sons of Norway, Gradient Advisors, AXA Advisors, and Foresters Financial. In these positions, he was responsible for expanding distribution relationships, increasing sales production, and building advisor training and support frameworks. His work has consistently driven growth in agent recruiting, advisor engagement, and overall production across national organizations.​

At Bonsai, Jared's work is centered on making insurance and annuity solutions a more systematic and scalable part of the advisor workflow. Through the Bonsai Insurance Exchange, he helps advisors streamline implementation, improve efficiency, and deliver more integrated strategies that align protection solutions with long-term financial outcomes.​

Jared holds the CFP®, ChFC®, and CLU® designations and maintains FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 55, 63, and 65 licenses, along with life, health, property and casualty, and variable annuity insurance licenses. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Minnesota and an Associate of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota Crookston.​

Outside of work, Jared enjoys snowboarding, playing guitar, and taking on hands-on home projects, from full-scale kitchen and bathroom renovations to finishing the final details himself.​
